I knew this to be true already, but to be honest when creating my flash game I really had no idea what I could do to make the high score submissions secure. I also had no idea it would be so huge, so I thought nobody would bother trying to cheat.
After doing probably the most lame of all cryptography subjects last semester, I did at least learn some stuff about security. So I've updated it, and am farily confident that it's now un-crackable now it's much harder to crack. I've had to reset the score table for fairness sake, my apologies to those who legitimately had a high score.
Update: OK so you can never be entirely secure with flash [insert image of me eating my own words here].
Update #2: Score submission is back up, but please don't try hacking it - it spoils the fun for legitimate players. Also, I set up logging so that even if someone hacks it I will have a record of previous highscores that I can restore.

Yes, famous last words. But man, o man, I wouldn't have a *CLUE* how to hack it. So, I'm not the guilty one :D hee hee. Seriously, though, I hope no-one does crack it!
There seems to be a bug, after submitting a score when you retry you get killed straight away and the space bar doesnt work. Also maybe as an improvement; change the spacebar so it can only be held down for 6 seconds before the power gets reset or after it hits peak it starts descending back again otherwise you can just hold it down for ages waiting.
I've done a lot of debugging and not really come up with anything that I could fix with that spacebar issue unfortunately. The jump bar fading again sounds like a good idea, I may decide to put it in sometime...

I didn't mean to ruin your game or people's fun, but I had to crack it for my knowledge. I could teach you how to make it completely uncrackable if you want. To reach me instant message me on AIM/AOL to "Skig This". Its a fake sn I made so people who want to hate don't bug me.
Incidentally...
I totally kick ass at this game. I can literally go on indefinitely. It's not even difficult to me any more. It's really just a question of "how much time in my life am I going to waste on this game?" I am told by others my immortaility indicates that I'm a complete freak.
However, it's really disheartening for me to spend half and hour building a score, only to have it removed the next day.
When you get it finalized, I'll put up an indestructable score, and we can discuss a future time at which I will be crowned king.

I can also go on forever... game needs some changes... to easily mastered. Oh, by the way, your site kind of sucks without the game (the high scores). I mean, dont get me wrong, the layout is nice but it is missing content. You do not even have a message board. You need to get some content and fast. Especially if you want to take advantage of the traffic from ebaums... could be a money maker if you act fast.
It's hard trying to do something securely without SSL when your source code can be eaily read :(
And to anonymous above, a message board? Is that not somewhat overkill? Seems like every man and his blog (eheh) has one, and they're mostly empty :|
