A friend of mine lent me a bottle of rosewater for some cooking experiments (namely homemade ice-cream). We noticed that the nutritional information on the label was slightly odd:
Calories: 0
Total Fat: 0g (0% Daily Value*)
Sodium: 0mg (0%)
Total Carb: 0g (0%)
Sugars: 0g
Protein: 0g
*Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie Diet
Wow, that's quite packed full of stuff there, innit? Seems I could eat an infinite amount of this stuff and never have to worry about having excess calories, fat, salt, sugar or protein! What is this stuff, air?
Also, do we really need to know what the percentages are based on? 0g is always going to be 0% of anything, I would have thought that information was fairly redundant...

Ah, yes, the redundancy factor. Always a troubling factor. Why the hell do they waste the ink!?!?! Nice to hear your voice :)
I'd like to make it known, for the sake of historical accuracy, that whilst this blogpost made a very deliberate and careful attempt to spell "redundant" correctly, it did not, however, in its original form, spell "infinite" correctly, instead spelling it "infitite". The post was later edited.
Seems like such a very picky blogpost should at least get its spelling right ;)
